Chris Phillips Ponders Wise Old Sayings 5/4

A stitch in time saves nine...  A stitch in the Time-Space Continuum saves everybody.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...  It might still be a robot.

All the world's a stage... I told you there's someone watching me!

A penny saved is a penny earned...  917 pennies saved is still only $9.17

  1. Chris, this was probably one of my favorite posts ever. In fact, I'm stealing, "A stitch in time saves nine... A stitch in the Time-Space Continuum saves everybody." And using it as my new status message.

    Good stufff. :)

  6. You need to get on Twitter with this stuff. You could create #wisenewsayings, or something like that. Or #CPproverbs

  9. LOL! :o) Speaking of ducks, how this: When I was two I was sitting my my dad's shoulders walking through a forest area. We were approaching a hanging branch, and my mother, who was beside us said, "Duck," I said, "Quack, Quack," and banged my head into the branch. :o)

  15. Love the first wise saying. We don't need a tear in the space time continuum. Lots of crazy things could happen!
