A Final Plea

 

Dearest Friends,
Look at that photo.  Do I not look happy?  I do don't I?  That picture was taken a year ago on my 28th birthday.  I look happy because I'm drinking "soda."  In order to win enough money to afford "soda" for my birthday at the end of the month I need to win Elana's 100 Words contest.  Please go HERE and vote for #2.  If you don't my birthday will basically be ruined.  I am currently down 3 votes so I need 5-10 to win it.  We are going to pull off the greatest upset in blogger history!  Put on your rally caps!

  2. Um...shouldn't other people be buying you "soda" for your birthday?? Not to mention, if this is your 29th birthday, it's a HUGE deal and monumental amounts of "soda" should be consumed because next year is just THE WORST POSSIBLE THING TO EVER HAPPEN. So...okay, I'll vote for you because I'm sure your friends don't have THAT much money to spend on your "soda". And I'll straight up say that this year is my 30th and I'm drinking LOTS OF LIQUOR. I'm not bitter.

  24. I'm mostly from kansas. I call it both. I don't know why I use soda, because you're right that most people in the midwest don't.
